Benjamin Garnett is a communications, online marketing, and social media management professional based in Louisville, Kentucky, where he has lived since 2007. He recently earned a Master of Arts in Communication from the University of Louisville, and he holds Bachelor of Arts in Music from Otterbein University.

Benjamin has a great deal of experience in fields including public relations and media, client management, event management, speech writing, editing, & delivery, and public speaking. He recently completed a semester of instruction at the University of Louisville, where he taught Public Speaking at the undergraduate level.

Benjamin works for the U.S. Army Reserve, serving as a musician, Non-Commissioned Officer, and operations manager with the 100th Army Band at Fort Knox. His military background has given him a great deal of education and experience in areas of operations, public affairs, leadership, administration, operational security, unit safety, recruiting, and retention.

Benjamin is an accomplished musician, with over 20 years of experience as a vocalist and a trumpet player. He was one of the first soldiers in the history of the U.S. Army to earn the "Army Musician - Vocalist" Skill Identifier. As a trumpet player, he's recorded for and landed stage time with the Villebillies, a Louisville band recently signed to Sony Records.

Benjamin also has a great deal of experience in the music industry. Over the last 10 years, he's been an audio technician, a booking agent, music promoter, and stage manager. He holds professional certifications in Audio and Master Engineering from the Lexington School of Recording Arts in Lexington, KY.
